Boxing Authorities Consider Ban On Punching

International boxing authorities are meeting today to consider a proposed ban on punching.

Top doctors have warned that punching could be 'dangerous' and potentially cause 'harm' to the opponent, resulting in 'injuries'.

Some boxers have welcomed the proposal, with the infamous 'corkscrew punch' cited as top of their banning list.

The ban would, theoretically, make boxing a non-contact sport in a similar vein to tennis and tetris.
